Denton County’s longest running charity golf event tees up for 29th year led by local dealerships.
United Way of Denton County announced the 11th consecutive year of return growth for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for tax year 2018 with 1,552 returns filed with tax credits totaling $2.1 million for hard-working Denton County taxpayers. 
Board targets strategic solutions to myriad of interconnected challenges with grants to Partner Agencies and funding to Collective Impact Initiatives; more dollars required to meet region’s escalating needs
The United Way of Denton County (UWDC) Board of Directors approved the organization’s 2019-2020 operating budget at their March meeting with over $2.4 million allocated to continuing the dual strategy of leading Collective Impact Initiatives and supporting Partner Agencies to serve vulnerable populations in a growing Denton County.
