Layne joined United Way of Denton County’s Development team in November 2022 as a part-time worker and stepped into the full-time Coordinator position shortly after in February 2023. Layne graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2021 with a Master of Art degree in Nonprofit Leadership with an emphasis in Arts Administration, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Cello Performance from Oklahoma City University in 2020. As the Development Coordinator and an Ambassador for the Metroport Chamber of Commerce, Layne is passionate about serving our community by building relationships across the county, planning events, and managing campaigns that improve lives in Denton County.
