Samantha Shead, LMSW

Samantha joined the team in February of 2025. She received her Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies from the University of North Texas, where her areas of study included Psychology, Sociology, and Women and Gender studies. Samantha has a diverse background serving in the United States Navy and Reserves for the past 19 years as a Quartermaster, is a certified Life Coach and avid swimmer.  Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, cruising, and baking.

Mark Bryant

Mark Bryant joined the Development team in October 2024 with over a decade of experience building partnerships, leading fundraising initiatives, and driving strategic growth across North Texas. Mark previously worked with Credit Union of Texas and AT&T, where he was recognized multiple times for top performance and leadership excellence. His career reflects a deep commitment to service, equity, and empowering others—principles he lives out both professionally and personally. Mark is a devoted husband, proud father of four, and loving grandfather of two.

Shelby Redondo-Macon

 

Shelby joined our staff in May 2020. Shelby earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of North Texas.  She completed her Bachelor level internship with our Education & Workforce Initiatives team. Before joining United Way, Shelby interned with the Children's Learning Institute and with a variety of grants from the UT Health Science Department. In her role, Shelby advocates for achievable workforce pathways, supporting Denton County businesses, and making child care accessible for all families in Denton County.
