Kelly joined our team in September 2025 after first serving as an applied research intern during her master’s program at the University of North Texas, where she was a non-traditional, first-generation student. As an applied medical and organizational anthropologist, Kelly loves constructing meaning from data in all its forms, whether from spreadsheets, field notes, or the lived experiences of community members and partners.
With expertise in qualitative and mixed-method research, policy analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Kelly’s holistic approach has supported our efforts to bring collaborative, data-driven solutions to complex issues including behavioral health, housing insecurity, and structural barriers to resource access. Her passion lies in connecting ideas, people, and datasets in ways that help make her community a better place for those who call it home.
In her downtime, you can find Kelly enjoying live music, lifting at the gym, or making and appreciating art with friends all across Denton.
