Looking for opportunities to give back during the season of giving? Or do you know a neighbor who could use an extra helping hand? Every year United Way of Denton County compiles a list of opportunities from our network of nonprofits to help you do just that!
From mid-November until late December, organizations from across Denton County strive to make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors in need. How can you get involved? Give money, food, or gifts. Serve Thanksgiving meals at a senior center or homeless shelter. Buy and distribute gifts from an Angel Tree wish list for local families and children. Volunteer to ring a bell at a kettle location in our community. Just to name a few.
The need is great, and the opportunities are plentiful. United, we can spread holiday joy to all four corners of Denton County.
