Catherine Huckaby, Author
Catherine Huckaby is the Executive Director of Community Positive and author of "Nobody Starts Ready". She brings over 20 years of experience working in local government and nonprofits, including roles with the City of Fort Worth and Neighborhoods, USA. Her book draws from interviews with hundreds of elected officials, volunteers, and nonprofit leaders to explore the why and how people get involved in their communities. Catherine holds a BA in political science and history, an MPA, and is a certified family mediator.
