2020 Point-In-Time Count Volunteers
Thursday, January 23, 2020
The Point-In-Time Count is an annual census of people experiencing literal homelessness. It helps our community identify and understand the extent and nature of homelessness. Data from the Count allows us to apply for funding and advocate for increased resources in our community.
Free Tax Prep Volunteers (VITA)
By helping taxpayers e-file their federal income taxes for free through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), volunteers infuse low to moderate-income families with the largest sum of money many will see in a year. This also saves families in need the hundreds of dollars that they might be charged at a predatory retail preparer, empowering families to do more with the money they earned.
United Way of Denton County Photographers & Videographers
