VITA Volunteer Tax Preparer Tutoring Block
This is an open tutoring block for VITA volunteers to receive tutoring and practice while preparing for certification exams. Please email John Montoya at john@unitedwaydenton.org if you plan to attend.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides free tax preparation for individuals and families who earn $53,000 or less.
This course teaches you the skills needed to prepare a high quality tax return for low to moderately low income households. You will learn to use TaxSlayer Pro Online tax preparation software, while developing the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to accurately complete a taxpayer’s return.
