Aspen joined the United Way of Denton County staff as the Workforce Success Coordinator in August 2019. Aspen has a Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Texas A&M Commerce- University and a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Children and Family from University of Texas- Arlington. Her professional experience also includes serving as a team supervisor for ACH family and services of Tarrant County and working with Youth advocates to empower youth as a quality mental health professional. As Workforce Success Coordinator, Aspen supports both the Director of Financial Initiatives and the Director of Education and Workforce Initiatives on a shared vision of empowering low and moderate–income families and individuals to accomplish personalized goals related to improving their own financial well-being over the course of a coaching relationship.
