Michell joined the United Way of Denton County team in August 2020 as an Eviction Prevention Specialist and is now a Coordinated Entry and Diversion Specialist on our Housing Team. Michell is a Licensed Master Social Worker committed to both the social work profession and advocating on behalf of the clients she serves. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Advanced Generalist Practice from the Texas Woman's University & University of North Texas Joint Degree Program. She brings with her ten years of professional social work experience working with individuals and families in varying case management settings.
