As our community complies with the social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC and local health organizations, additional support will be needed to help neighbors experiencing income or job loss as a result of COVID-19 activity (event/project cancellations or delays, layoffs, etc.) We have created the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund to help these neighbors in need in partnership with our network of nonprofits.
The COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund is made possible by contributions from municipalities, corporations, individuals, and United Way of Denton County. Applications for financial assistance for eviction prevention from the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund is for households at-risk of homelessness due to COVID-19. Applications must be submitted by an organization on behalf of the household. Individuals may NOT directly apply.
Note: Households only need to apply to ONE AGENCY for assistance.
Lewisville residents requiring utility assistance AND who have a contract with TXU, CoServ, Atmos or First Choice Power, please apply for assistance through Christian Community Action.
