THE EVICTION PREVENTION PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE CARES ACT HAS SUSPENDED APPLICATIONS FOR ASSITANCE.
Established in March 2020, the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund was made possible by contributions from Denton County, municipalities, corporations, individuals, and United Way of Denton County, chiefly through CARES Act dollars. Due to limitations associated with CARES Act funding, the Eviction Prevention program suspended applications for assistance on Dec. 1, 2020 until further resources can be developed and deployed.
