THE EVICTION PREVENTION PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE CARES ACT HAS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED APPLICATIONS FOR ASSITANCE.
Established in March 2020, the COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund was made possible by contributions from Denton County, municipalities, corporations, individuals, and United Way of Denton County, chiefly through CARES Act dollars. Due to a transition of funding sources, the Eviction Prevention program has temporarily suspended applications for assistance. An update on future COVID-19 Relief & Recovery Fund Eviction Prevention programming is expected by February 1.
