4th Annual Denton County Homeless Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair

A Stand Down is a time of rest and recuperation from the stress of battle. Local Veterans living on the streets will get the same reprieve at the 4th Annual Denton County Homeless Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair.

The Denton County Homeless Veterans Stand Down and Resource Fair is hosted by the VA and is co-sponsored by the City of Denton, Denton County MHMR, the Denton County Veterans Coalition, Health Services of North Texas, the Military Veteran Peer Network, Giving Hope, the Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and the United Way of Denton County.

 

Bring any of the below donations to the Denton County Veterans Center (400 S. Carroll) between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m, Monday through Thursday, now until October 24th.

  • Sleeping Bags
  • Blankets
  • Socks
  • Long Underwear
  • New/Gently Used Winter Coats
