Mock VITA Site in Denton
Through this event, trained VITA Volunteers will get a chance to experience a simulated VITA site at work and practice their interview and tax skills.
- Prepare a sample tax scenario ahead of time - make it as simple or complex as you want, but understand what the answer should be at the end.
- We'll split attendees into two groups: One group to be sample taxpayers with your prepared scenario, one group to be Intake and Tax Preparation volunteers.
- After running the VITA site like that once, we'll flip and give everyone a chance at the other side of the coin!
