Returning VITA Volunteer Refresher (Denton)
Volunteer to help low and moderately-low income families prepare their taxes for free! You can the be reason someone gets through tax season with a smile and enough money to pay off the debt or bill holding them back, pay for their kid's braces, or invest for their future. Through this course, returning volunteers will receive a refresher on the training and certification necessary to volunteer with United Way of Denton County as a Volunteer Tax Preparer!

United Way of Denton County site coordinators will provide training so you can learn tax law, earn IRS-certification, and help people file their taxes for free during the 2019 Tax Season!
We'll have up to six (6) computers available, but you are encouraged to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) that is capable of accessing TaxSlayer online tax preparation software.
