Thanksgiving Drive

CACDC is asking for grocery store gift cards for their families. Donations due November 11th and can be dropped off or mailed to both Denton and Lewisville locations.

Christmas Drive

CACDC is asking for donations of toys, stocking stuffers, and books for their children for Christmas. Donations are due December 5th and can be dropped off at both Denton and Lewisville locations.

Giving Trees

Accepting toy and gift card donations from shoppers at Music City Mall during designated 2-hour shifts.

Holiday Food Program

Help stock the CCA food pantry with holiday food. Items needed for the holidays can be found here. Volunteers (16 years +) are needed to unload and sort donated food.

Christmas Celebration

Help sort and pack gifts, decorate party rooms, direct traffic, check in families, take photos, serve food and beverages, lead family activities, distribute gifts, clean up after each event. 

Coordinate a Toy/Gift Card Drive

Host a toy drive for children attending the Christmas celebrations. Toys are needed for all ages including teens. Value of gifts should be $25-$50 per child. Groups can set up an appointment to deliver toys to CCA.  Toys and gifts will be needed by December 4th.

 

Adopt a Senior for Christmas

Purchase gifts from CCA's Golden Angel's wish list, return the wrapped gifts with the name on the tag to CCA by Nov. 30th.

Holiday Giving Tree

Help CISNT address basic needs for students at-risk of dropping out of school by adopting a Student Angel and purchase items such as clothing, winter coat, and shoes. Adoption is open November 23rd - December 8th, 2020.

Denton County MHMR is collecting gifts and gift cards for their consumers. Deadline to adopt is December 1st. Deadline to deliver gifts is December 9th. Volunteers are needed to purchase, wrap, and distribute Angel Tree gifts. Wrapping begins December 9th. Distribution occurs on December 14th.

Toy Drive

Donate toys for Grace Like Rain's Christmas Party this Christmas at any of the following locations until December 8th:

This party allows families and children to "shop" for their favorite items and wishes this Chrismas. The event will be socially-distanced and spaced out in shifts over the entire day to keep families and volunteers safe.

Brighten the Holidays for local families and seniors by helping Metrocrest Services with food, toy, and coat donations. Volunteers also needed. Metrocrest Services will provide each family with an ample box of food based on their family size.
Toy Drive

Help by donating new unwrapped toys for children ages 1-18.

Coat Drive

Coat donations are one of the most needed items. New or newly cleaned coats in all sizes - men's, women's, and children's are appreciated.

Gift Card Drive for Seniors

This year Metrocrest Services is asking for gift cards of any amount for the seniors in our community.

Next Steps The Colony will be handing out gift cards and party bags from 4-7 PM December 15-18 and December 19 from 9 AM - 3 PM. Donations of $20 gift cards to Wal-Mart, Target, and Amazon, as well as prepackaged cookies, candy, and small stockings can be dropped off M-F 9 AM - 3 PM. Volunteers Needed.

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help in the warehouse to sort and organize gifts for families to be ready to distribute on December 18-19. If interested, call Angel Tree Coordinator Diana Matthews, 832-928-9587. You are asked to wear a mask and follow COVID-19 safety protocols.

Bell Ringing for Red Kettle Campaign

TSA is looking for volunteers to ring bells at various locations in Denton. The Red Kettle Campaign is TSA largest fundraiser of the year and will kick off November 14th on Denton Square at 10:30 AM. Client Christmas Party

Holidays are hard and sometimes they can be unbearable when addiction has a firm grip on the family. This Christmas Party may be the only present they receive. Gifts needed for 52 residential clients (male and female). These can be dropped off by 5 PM on December 11th. Volunteers needed on December 10th starting at 5 PM for party.
