32nd Annual Thanksgiving Banquet  

They will be serving a free Thanksgiving meal. The meal will have turkey, dressing, green beans, rolls and pumpkin pie. Service opportunities are available as well.

It has been a Salvation Army tradition to call upon volunteer groups to participate in our annual Christmas campaign. We would like to invite you to join us this year. You can choose from our different locations throughout Denton. Kettles are open from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. You can sign up to ring for a full or half day.

Help unload food items from vehicles and move them in the warehouse. (must be at least 16 years old)

Christmas Celebration 

Help sort and pack gifts, decorate party rooms, direct traffic, check in families, take photos, serve food and beverages, lead family activities, distribute gifts, clean up after each event.

Coordinate a Toy/Gift Card Drive 
Host a toy drive for children attending the Christmas celebrations. Toys are needed for all ages including teens. Value of gifts should be $25-$50 per child. Groups can set up an appointment to deliver toys to CCA.  Toys and gifts will be needed by December 7th.
Adopt a Senior for Christmas 

Purchase gifts from CCA's Golden Angel's wish list, return the wrapped gifts with the name on the tag to CCA by Nov. 30th.

The countdown to the holidays has begun. Our Adopt-a-Family Drive is the perfect way to get into the giving spirit! You and your family, organization, business and/or church can adopt children who have been impacted by domestic violence and provide a little holiday joy! We are working to provide holiday gifts to over 425 children this year and we need your help.

Feed My Starving Children Community Packing Event 

December 14-15 3420 Elm Bottom Cir #1, Aubrey, TX 76227

This organization works through volunteers and donations to package a nutritionally balanced meal very cost effectively (22 cents per meal) which is then sent around the world. They provide food for almost 1,000,000 children a day.

Santa To A Senior Gift Wrapping Party 
Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1 PM – 8 PM
Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce - 551 N Valley Pkwy, Lewisville, Texas 75067
We will be wrapping gifts to be donated to seniors in Denton County for the holidays. Please contact Rachel Bagley for more information or to sign up to be a volunteer, or 972-895-2457.

Castle Hills Crossing

Holiday Celebration 
Saturday, Dec. 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. We’re inviting the community out to celebrate the holiday season with activities and promotions all afternoon. Featuring live music, a bounce house, balloon artist, and a special appearance from Santa Claus, attendees will get to enjoy delicious treats and games with family and friends all for FREE. 
We will also be partnering with the North Texas Food Bank to host a canned food drive during the event and invite you to bring any canned goods donations to the event.
