Running an Employee Campaign
The United Way workplace campaign has been called one of the greatest social inventions in American history. Working together with employers and more than a million volunteers each year, United Way invites people to advance the common good and create opportunities for a better life for all.
Here are the tools you will need to run an effective employee campaign:
The 2011 United Way of Denton County brochure The brochure serves as a guide to what the United Way of Denton County does, who it serves and where your campaign contribution dollars go. We encourage you to pass out the brochure at your workplace so employees can see for themselves how their contribution helps to build a stronger community.
The United Way of Denton County employee pledge form. Individual participants in an Employee Campaign will need to fill out this form. Forms are available at the United Way of Denton County office.
The Campaign Toolkit. Updated each year and distributed in ECC training, The Campaign Toolkit is a comprehensive guide to running an employee campaign.
The 2011 Campaign Video. Available on our home page, we encourage you to show the campaign video to employees as a way to illustrate how their contributionworks for their community.
Corporate Pledge Form. Businesses who would like to make a corporate contribution to United Way of Denton County should complete this form and return it to the United Way office.
